If anyone stateside has shot there or in the surrounding regions before let me know what suggestions or tips for locations you can offer. savagesax
It's a beautiful small city with cobble stone streets and very old architectural buildings and museums with cool green hillsides outside of the city. Also shooting in the old classic churches will surely bring your client some memorable upscale, perhaps award winning types of images. Try doing a google search of the city. I'm sure there is a lot of info there. The summers can be pretty warm and often snow in the winter.

jenni k. - vancouver, b.c.
Congrats, there's a beautiful photo everywhere you look. I shot a wedding in the Tuscany region last year, in the small town of Poppi. I arrived 2 days before the wedding and did a walk around the area we'd be shooting in... but really, just go for a wander with the b&g, see what you find... there will be lots! Italians have an afternoon 'siesta' time when everything shuts down and the streets are quiet... perhaps not in somewhere more touristy like Siena, but I found it a great time to shoot and have wide open, empty streetscapes.
Enjoy the food & wine too :)
Ciao!
