Stock-Photos Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 <p>I just had a look at my Canon EOS "utility" and I was pleased to find that I can change the prefix on my file names to something other than IMG_.</p> <p>This will prevent duplicate file names after every 10K images,... if I change the prefix occasionally.</p> <p>Thanks for making me aware of the EOS Utility Bob.</p> <p>Be aware, changing settings with the utility requires that the camera is connected to the computer, at the time of the change, for the changes to take effect in the camera.</p> <p>I did not find a section in "EOS Utility" to change the author info.
