Seagull GC-104 shutter release stuck

I borrowed a Seagull 104, from my photo teacher and the shutter

release has locked. I had the shutter speed at Bulb but i hit the

time release leaver. Now i cant get the shutter to close. Any help.

Is the TLR model you are talking about? I've had 2 do that and they were history after that. Actually one the shutter sprung out and went everywhere, the other just locked up. They can be good performers and I've taken excellent photos with them but just too darn unreliable.

I had the same experience as Richard. I personally knew two of these; one mine, one belonged to a friend. Both died with busted shutters.
