george_crawford
Help Please I shot some outdoor protraits of a couple of girls and thier baby sister yersterday This was a series of shots that whenchimped look real good. They show up very well on my screen but when uploaded to my laptop they all read as corupted. Any suggestions on what to do ? Would print directly from my Epson but I am Not sure that the RAW files will read there. I hve tried Rawshooter and CS2 to open the files without any success. jeffpolaski
Hate to potentially start an argument, but unless you intend to do a lot of file manipulation (a real lot!), of make very large prints, .jpg files should serve your purpose with much more convenience. Let the debate begin.
george_crawford
back again the files uploaded fine to my second computer with a built in card reader. I think it was a software bug to chase. in all do respect to the poster who thinks JPG are equal. the 16 bit files give more flexabilty in all respects
