peter_olsson Posted July 22, 1999 Share Posted July 22, 1999 Did anyone get the kit that mounts the Schneider 6x6 loupe to aHasselblad camera? I would like to hear about your experience. Specifically I wonder if the bottom part of the loupe (which nowcomes both in black and transparent) is exchanged to a third versionbecause it seems that when placing the loupe directly on the groundglass I cannot get focus. alain_rempfer1 Posted July 28, 1999 Share Posted July 28, 1999 No experience with the Schneider loupe but I use a very single 8x loupe (Horizon) when I want a very precise focus with the 500 mm (the 250 mm and the mutar converter 2x) put on the center of the acumate D (the clearest part of the image), directly inside the small original viewfinder cap, and that works very well for a sharp focus.
