shannonholm
is there an adapter available for canon scanners for 120 film? i have an adapter for 35mm....i didn't know if there was anything available for larger format...
shambrick007
If it did not come w/a 120 neg holder, chances are that the light source is not wide enough to illuminate the film. But that's not an absolute, as I made my own 120 neg holder out of some mat board and used it on an Epson that was designed for 35mm. You can try that technique, or go to better scanning dot com and try one of his holders.
shannonholm
yeah, the light source isn't wide enough on the 35mm attachment. i didn't know if something similar (with a light source) is avaiable. i looked on betterscanning.com and they seem to be holders with no light. but it's hard to tell.... thomas_park
If your backlight isn't big enough to scan MF film, you'll most likely just need to get another scanner.
