I like them. I once sold a lens on eBay by rolling it down the scanner with the cover open, to get a complete 360 shot of hte lens.

Neat stuff everyone. I'm another scanner junkie who likes to use an Epson 3200 for a different view of the world.

Here's one of my attempts at scanning a marine plankton sample. I made a transparent scanning container from a

piece of 4" PVP pipe, Saran-wrap and an elastic band. The container was placed on the scanner and the seawater

with plankton poured in...<div></div>

That should be PVC pipe above.... Here's a mushroom and the spore print that built up while it was sitting on the

glass....<div></div>
