mike_doyle2
Is the Nikon SC17 flash cord compatible with the SB800 Flash Gun and Nikon D200 or D3 camera's, I previously used it with the SB24 Flash Gun and the Nikon F100, but since moving to digital the cord has been unused, I wondered if anyone had experience of using the above combination. Michael R Freeman
No experience with those combos, but yes, it is 100% compatible.
ShunCheung
Again, the SB-17, 28 and 29 are merely flash extension cords. All of them work with the SB-800 the same way. The three of them have other differences outside of their "extension cord" functionality.
russ_konrad
We used the SC17 extensively with our D200 and D70s with SB800 flashes. Never any problems at all.

ShunCheung
Those flash cords have exactly the same electronic contacts: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=008mhJ
