robert_hooper1 Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 There were some problems with the SB-600 & SB-800 fitting too loosely in the flash shoe of some Nikon digital bodies. My Nikon D80/SB-800 fit is pretty sloppy, though I've never had a malfunction. Perhaps Nikon has changed the tolerances of the SB-900 foot for that reason. As for not fitting 3rd party? Maybe that is a good thing given potential electronic compatibility issues. A fried SB-900 would make for a bad day. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
