chuck
I am having a new problem with both SB-26 and SB-80DX and F100. With a D type lens mounted, S focus mode and aperture priority exposure mode, and all custom function cancelled, center focus sensor selected, the flash would only indicates the A,M, multi-flash and standard TTL modes. There seems to be no way to get the 3-D multi- sensor mode. With the exact same camera settings and lens, and the same flash unit, the N80 seem to allow 3-D multi-sensor mode. Am I missing something? craig_bridge
Are you in Matrix metering?
gary_loo
3-D Multi-sensor mode works fine on my F100 with the same flash. The same thing happened to my F100 one time too and then I noticed that the 3-D mode icon doesn't come up until I focused onto something through the lens! I usually shoot flash with my F5 and rarely do so with my F100 until one day when I decided to do so. Hope this helps.
k_michael
I had the same thing happen. The problem? I was in spot metering. One other thing..........my flash starts to do weird things when the batteries are low.
