bv photography
Hi, is there a way to zoom 100% photo in PS, crop the part you like and save it as it is (zoomed)? Stupid question?! Thanks.
mendel_leisk
Use marquee tool (hotkey m), define the rectangle you want, then in Pulldowns: Image|Crop.

fotografz
You don't even need to use a pull down menu, just crop with the tool and double click on the image (at least on a MAC). Even faster is to just key in: Command C However, if you zoom an 8X10 sized image and crop a 4X5 section from it, then save that cropped portion, the saved image will be 4X5 not 8X10. citizensmith1664875108
Yeah, to zoom to 100% just double click the zoom tool. to crop just hit the C key to bring up the crop tool, select the area you want, right-click and select either cancel or accept. Couldn't be easier. You do end up with a smaller image of course. You could enlarge it back to its previous size but depending on how much you cropped you'll lose more and more quality as the program estimates everything for you.
