Sandbanks Provincial Park - Ontario

I'll be driving from Toronto to Montreal this week and will be

stopping to check out Sandbanks Provincial Park. This will be more of

a scouting trip than a shoot, but I've heard good things about the

park, though no specifics.

If anyone has any specific location suggestions they'd be appreciated.

Sandbanks is a beautiful area and someone like yourself could very well do it justice, especially the dunes. I haven't shot there yet but I've actually fished the area and have seen it at those abnormally early hours. The dunes run along the Lake Ontario shoreline "AND" along West Lake (a different lake). Morning light is perfect for the West Lake side & evening for the Lake "O" side. There's knarly looking trees & great sand patterns along the whole ridge. Great potential. I'd love to see your finished product if you shoot it!

My trip to Sandbanks last week was revealing. This is a place with great photographic potential. I only had a few hours to look around, but I definately plan on returning in the fall. I now have a few photographs from there, as well as several from the Laurentian Mountains in Quebec on my site at the Rural 2000 page.
