bgelfand
I know several people on this forum use Network Addressable Storage (NAS). Here is an article about a nasty piece of malware that infects both routers (that most of us do not use) and QNAP NAS that some may use. FBI tells router users to reboot now to kill malware infecting 500k devices The solution seems to be: 1) Reboot your devices to mitigate the problem. 2) Update the firmware on the device. 3) Perform a factory reset. 4) Change default passwords (always a good idea). 5) Block administrations from the Web i.e. the Internet.
