Rolleiflex 3.5F White Face serial number/how do date.

Hi, I live in Brazil and i´m a rolleiflex user.

 

I have a 3.5F "White Face" and serial number in the front panel is

3.556.xxx. Taking lens is a Schneider - Kreuznach Xenotar 1:3.5/75

and serial # of the lens is 12.449.534 (YES!!! 12 million!!!). Camera

is MINT and I was wondering if someone could help me to find the

exact date the camera was made. It looks like, for me, that this

model is a late one and probably made around 1980´s......Is that

correct or wrong??? Please keep me posted with your comments.

 

I will take some pictures of the camera tomorrow morning and will ad

to my website. I´ll let every body knows about the correct url of the

pictures then!!

According to www.foto.no/rolleiflex/Rollei-2.html it looks like you have a 3.5F series 5 that was made around 1979. Wow. That sounds like quite a fine camera!
