andy m.
"Are there Bay II to 52mm?" Yes, you can obtain a 52mm adapter - useful for Nikon filters etc. I use both Bay I and Bay II adapters, but mine take 46mm- this allows me to use a set of Yashica contrast filters and a nice 46mm Mamiya TLR hood. mskovacs
My anodized aluminum BIII to 52mm was about $20 shipped on ebay. Too expensive for what it is but too cheap not to own (compared to a bagful of BIII filters!). If you're a Nikon guy, my metal 50/1.4 HS-5 hood is a perfect fit. It does slightly shade the bottom of the viewfinder but you can still see through it. Also the Nikon polarizer + its dedicated hood work well. dean_sale
I purchased a Bay II to 52 mm filter at the auction site. The distance between the bayonets and the rear surface of the filter ring was different than the standard Rolleiflex filter. The adapter would not fit a Rollei Magic II. On the Rollei Magic II the three ears (?) serve to manipulate the filter factor adjustment.
