Rollei AFM 35 viewfinder LEDs

Hello,

Just received a Rollei AFM 35, the user maual is in German! Can't find

an online manual. The camera operation is easy to understand but I am

not sure about the 2 LEDs near the viewfinder, especially the red one

that blinks when the shutter speed is slow.

Could somebody please tell me more about these 2 LEDs?, at what

shutter speed the red one blinks?...

Thanks

Maybe the occasion to pick up some German:)

If I remember well the red LED blinks when the shutter time is under 1%45s, or too high. When you point the lens with the aperture set to 2.6 to the sun the red light will blink as well. As well the red light will blink if you should use the flash.

The green light is the indicator for the distance, when it blinks no clear focus could be found by the AF system. When the green light is permanently on, it means the AF has locked on something.

So the best is to take the pictures with condition green, only the green light is on.

If you need more help, let me know.
