frank_becsi1
I just purchased a new Rollei 35AFM. This is a high-end point andshoot camera which I've read is manufactured by Fuji camera with aRollei coated 38mm lens. I just received my first roll of photos andI'm very impressed with the results. I did own a Contax T3 and sold itbecause it was too small for my hands. The optics on the T3 wereoutstanding, but the ergonomics did not appeal to me. Examining myphoto's, I'd stack the Rollei lens against my Leica Summicron 50mmlens. Of course there is limited manual control with the Rollei, butfor a point and shoot, it's well worth checking out. It was only$299.00 (US) purchased new from B&H Photo in New York...The cameramakes for a great "Street Photography" tool.

jeremy_smith
I bought the same camera late last year and have been very impressed with the sharpness & contrast of the results. The 38mm lens can feel a little limiting at times, but it's worlds away in quality from that of any other point & shoot I've used. And best, it goes with me a lot more places than my SLRs do...
