I recently tested a 150mm F9 APO Gerogon at 1:10 its best aperture was at F22; like BOB mentioned. The APO Gerogon is for 1:1 to 1:5 . The Schneider Componon 135mm F5.6 at 1:10 beat the daylights out of the APO Gerogon at 1:10.

There was a 165mm F11 APO Graphigon once available. My guess is that at infinity this lens would only resolve between 5 to 15 lines/mm across a 8x10 negative.

From a Rodenstock 1982 process lens brochure (translated from German): "Another version of the Apo-Gerogon is the Apo-Graphigon, where the angle of view has been increased even further, to a safe 78°. ....Useable magnification 1:3 - 1:1"

The only focal length listed in this brochure is 240mm, actually 242.1mm effective focal length according to the table. Largest aperture f/11, smallest aperture f/90, working aperture f/22. It takes 82mm filters.

With 78° and a focal length of 242mm I get an image circle of 392mm at infinity, so it should cover 8x10.
