Reverse order?

  1. Has anyone else noticed that the new forums (excellent additions BTW) are listed in reverse order compared to all the others. The most recent is at the bottom while the oldest is at the top. Is this a bug? I'm just curious.
  2. A bug on PN? Perish the thought :)
  3. It's an option when setting up a forum. You can list threads new to old or old to new along with a few other options such has how long to list a thread on the index page.
  4. Thanks Bob. To be honest, I never noticed that option.
  5. Bob,
I've tried both options for thread display: thread creation and last post. It doesn't change the order in which threads are shown in the new forums.
  6. Same here, all the new forums display newest last oldest first.
  7. It's an option for whoever initially set up the forum, not for users. Historically it's usually been set to "most recent thread first". Only the forum moderator can change it (if they want to).
When I said "you can set...", the "you" I was referring to was the person creating the forum. Sorry for any confusion. I'm not aware of any functioning option that allows a user to select the order.
  8. Bob, on "My Workspace" page there are options for many things on the right side of the page. At the bottom of the list is "Sort forums by date of: thread creation | last post". When I tried to use this, I got jumbled dates instead of simply reversing the order. Not the end of the world, but consistency across forums is helpful. The new forums are much appreciated, so no complaint here.
  9. I just noticed this too, and although it's no big deal, especially when those forums are so new, my preference is for latest at the top, so I would be happy to see them reset to match the other forums.
  10. Can we see our galleries as thumbnails? How? Can it be viewed as a slideshow? I've asked these questions to PN but never got an answer.
