vidom
Is there an easy way to align the infinity setting on a Retina IIa? My recently acquired IIa is off; it's not only the rangefinder that is out of alingnment but true infinity seems to be around the 20m mark on the lens. winfried_buechsenschuetz1
If the IIa is similar to the I, then you can turn the inner part of the focussing helicoid against the outer part. You will have to remove the shutter/lens assembly to do so. This is an easy job on the I models but probably more difficult on the II models due to the shutter cocking mechanism. The screws of the cover of the cogwheel on top left of the shutter are hard to reach.
