Report someone used my photo without my permission, THIS IS VERY SERIOUS !!

  1. Nature, you are getting your answer: Silence!

For now, it's the same answer many have been getting to their questions about PN in this forum in recent days and weeks. You are not alone.

What you want to try to avoid is behaving in a way that puts you on a par with the guy who you're complaining about. There may be other ways to avoid doing so, but two that have been suggested are 1) submitting the required paperwork and continuing your case in private, and/or 2) letting the matter go. The option you've chosen, continuing to ask for a public resolution to this matter, is clearly not working.

The serenity prayer can sometimes be a man's best friend . . .

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference."
  3. While yes something should be done about your photo being stolen, you are not alone in getting no response from admin. regarding a serious issue. The site help forum is filled with complaints from members who have received no response both to private emails to management and to their posts here in this forum.
At present there appear to be few remaining moderators and no management involvement in running the sight. Some have suggestion that admin. are too busy fixing the expanding list of bugs, however since no bugs are being fixed or as of late even acknowledged, I fear the truth may be much graver.
  4. Hi GorfonJB,

I specially dedicate a song to all members in PN's public forum here "You're NOT Alone from Michael Jackson" Enjoy all :)

We approached the party in question and sought a response and we got one from him. We then banned him from making any contributions for 2 weeks and warned him about future transgressions would result in permanent banning. This issue is closed as far as we're concerned.

  6. Hi Glenn,

Thank you for your beautiful story but not a fact!! Sorry Mr. Glenn, PN sounds like a kindergarten T&C to me. Whether or not, PN really punished the thief Mr. Joseph Nazoa as like what Mr, Glenn mentioned above. ONLY "GOD" knows.. Lolx

Anyway as I mentioned, I respect your decision. Good bye!

Just as a "by the way" comment - I think that you misunderstood the meaning of my text.

My using the phrase "if it were me in your position" was inextricably linked to "and having already outed the alleged offender".

What I mean is: I'd now let the matter drop considering the vast extent of the contents of this thread which is quite public and shaming.

It is entirely another question as to what I would have done at the outset upon noticing a suspected breach: firstly I would NOT have pursued the matter in an open and public thread and secondly I very much doubt I would have gone to the trouble of a Take Down notice. Maybe I would have messaged or emailed the other bloke and asked him what he thought that he was up to - and maybe I might not have, either.

  8. Don't think I misunderstood you. Perhaps my response was not directly addressing what you wrote. But that's OK.

Thanks for the clarification. I understand now.
I interpreted that you were directly addressing what I wrote.
  10. You do not understand what is if you expect it to police anything.
If it wanted to, HOW would that be done?
I think you are over-reacting and expecting something that probably is unlikely to meet your demands.

Given the fact that this subject has been discussed to the degree it has and I am sure the offending party is aware of it and feels a degree of shame which in and of itself is a penalty that is far worse than any permanent banning could give. I also believe the subject matter has been exposed and lessons learned. This phrase comes to mind and I hope as a community we all are better for it. To err is human, to forgive is divine.
