santa1
My manfrotto tripod has a small circular bubble built in. It has drained and I need a replacement. I sent anemail to Manfrotto repair but am curious if anyone has a source for such an item. After googling it I know thatsmall circular bubbles aren't easy to find for sale in quantities of one... michaelbrochstein
As an alternative, buy a bubble level that fits into the hot shoe of your camera, there are many available.
eric friedemann
1. Your Northern Lights images are outstanding. 2. Don't overthink the bubble level problem. If you're in the U.S. call, call Bogen at (201) 818-9500, and ask for the Parts Department. They should be able to send you a new bubble level for free or for a reasonable charge. anov
You mean, you didn't have it on your list? You know the "list" right? Sorry I couldn't resist ;) Did you try hardware stores, there might be one that you can fit on your tripod.
steven_f1
There are a lot of place where you can bubble levels. Unfortunately there is no standard sizes for them so you probably will not find one that will fit in your tripod head. So if you want to replace it, get the new one from the Manfrotto. That said I have not found the bubble levels on Manfrotto tripods very useful. I would buy a 2 axis level that fits in the flash hot shoe. It works with the camera horizontal or vertical even if the camera is pointed up or down. Most good camera shops carry them or you can order it through www.bhphotovideo.com.
