flyingdoc
Any suggestions on how to remove this annoying tree reflection with PS CS2? Any other PP suggestions most welcome too - this is the original image (converted from RAW to JPG), no PP yet. Yes, I know ... should have used a polariser...<div></div>

chrishickman
Use a polarizing filter.
flyingdoc
Thanks Chris, but as you can see, the photo's already been taken, and this is the digital darkroom forum. I'll keep your suggestion in mind next time I'm at my sister-in-law's wedding!
beepy
Wow. <p> If I was really desperate, I might glance at the channel and see if there was a black and white version I could extract that minimized the reflection. <p> If I had a lot of time on my hands I would painstakingly try to "restore" the missing information as if it were a damaged photo - again with some help for texture perhaps from a channel perhaps? brian.
I was bored... It's not perfect, but I'd do something like this:<div></div>
chrishickman
I understand that...use a polarizing filter effect with photoshop or whatever your photo program of choice.
brian.
I don't know of any "polarizing filter" on Photoshop?? My retouching example was pretty much lasso unwanted areas, clone like areas, adjust levels, etc.. Just basic stuff done very quickly...
flyingdoc
Thanks so far. I was afraid there wasn't an easy fix. Here's my attempt, using cloning and blending modes with some masking.<div></div>
