pradeep1
i was seeing quite a few photos of dew drops and droplets and lots of them seem to have a reflcetion of a person or an object on them which are very sharp, how do u get the reflection on the dew drops? i seem to be having a problem with it. would appreciate some advice and estions, by the way i use a canon powershot G2 and have +1 +2 and +4 close up set with a lensmate adapter. david choo
I don't get your question? =) Focus on the dew drops. If there is an object BEHIND the dew drop, it will show distorted through the dew drop upside down I believe. Focus on the dew drop and voila. =)
aardvarko
throw it into manual focus and rack back and forth through the entire focal range. you'll see how the dew affects the image passing through it. if you want to capture what you see, just stop down enough to capture both the image in the dew and the dew itself... beauh44
There might be a way to "cheat" a little. Try putting a bit of glycerin in a spray bottle and spraying it on an already "dewed-on" subject. The glycerin helps keep the tiny bubbles intact and it seems to help with the reflections, too. There's a product available in auto parts stores here in the States for putting on windshields to cause the water to run off quickly (sorry, I can't recall the name) and it has interesting properties when used in a similar fashion. Best wishes . . .
