Why would a piece of hardware that expensive be a threat to current DSLRs? The RED camera system has been around for a while. It has its proponents, but it costs a fortune. <Chas>
No, none. The real advantage of the stills feature is that very high quality production stills can be captured through the "filming" camera, a huge feature for those that need it. To think anybody would use one for primarily stills shooting, other than because it was, on set, is unlikely.
