mark liddell
I recently got a pro SD back and have put 2 films through it. Yesterday I loaded the back, shut the door and wound it on... and on.... and on until the film was wound right to the end. It never stopped the film at the first frame. The whole time the back just displayed 's' and the red flag. I guess is needs to go to a place to get repaired - is this a common problem? Damn ebay.... chris_waller
Is there a small black metal tab at the top of the back, in the centre? This is the film wind-stop lever. See if it's stuck over on the right side. If so then push it to the left and that may fix the problem.
mark liddell
The lever is free to move but over to the right.
karl_borowski
Mark, I have an RB 67 repair manual from a set of RBs I just acquired last month. If you would like, if you email me a detailed description of the problem, could email or fax you over a copy of the pertaining repair information. It'll probably take me a couple of days to find that manual though. I'm bogged down with college work and wedding printing in the meantime though.
