Quickloads in a Reayload Holder.

As Kodak in their infinite wisdom have decided to discontinue Readyloads, will the

Fuji Quickload films work in the Readyload film holder?

Maybe the answer is already in the archives here, but I`m too peeved to search.

Well, both Readyloads and Quickloads work properly in Polaroid holders, so I expect the answer is "probably yes."

I was shopping for a Readyload holder recently and was told by a salesman that the

failure rate of Quickloads in a Readyload holder is ~2%; conversely, the failure rate of

Readyloads in a Quickload holder is ~10%.

I use both Readyloads and Quickloads in my Readyload holder without a problem.

There used to be the results of some comparison tests on the Robert White website, however last time I looked they had revamped the site and it was not obviously there any more - perhaps one of the web archive sites might hold a copy?

I still use Kodak Readyloads on my Fuji Quickload II holder with no problems.

Paul Butzi reports his experiences with Readloads and Quickloads, including cross compatibility, at http://www.butzi.net/reviews/readyquick.htm. He found Quickloads to work in Kodak Readyload holders, but not the other way around.

Michael, I think Paul Butzi reported his trials with the Fujifilm Quickload NOT the Quickload II. With the II version I have no problems using the Readyload.
