Quick Photoshop 7 Question - dodge/burn

Discussion in 'Digital Darkroom' started by eye-of-searle, Dec 13, 2005.

  1. I have a quick and hopefully easy question for someone to answer. I
have PS7. Normally when I dodge and burn and even use healing
brush and clone I have a variable sized circle as a mouse point.
For some reason I now have a crosshair mouse point and I cannot get
it back to a circle. I have tried everything. There is no way to
judge the area szie to be edited with a small crosshair.

I have tried changing the brush type, diameter from minimum to
maximum and in between, opacity, etc. I cannot figure this out and
I don't know what I did to cause this.

Can anyone help me get the editing circle back for these functions?
I am at work right now so it will be tonight before I can try and
fixes suggested so bear with me.

  2. Your "CAPS-Lock" is on. Turn it off.

  3. Are you serious? That's the problem? If that's it, I'm an idiot.

    Thank you for the help.

better way to di this kind of stuff...call < mask > : ) have fun

  5. Yep, I'm an idiot! Thanks for the fix!
