Questions on CD-ROM pricing

I've been publishing a lot of my images on my own website for a few

years now, and I've recently gotten an email from a company that might

want to use some of my images in a CD-ROM that they're putting

together and selling.

 

I've never done this before, and although photography is just a hobby

it'd be nice to get some remuneration for all that film cost. :-) But

I'm unsure of what the right ballpark figure is to offer the pictures

for, or what questions I need to ask.

 

Any suggestions are deeply appreciated.

If it's an anthology of photos, like in a book format, then a good, round number to ask for would be $100 per image. That's pretty much a good average price that publishers have been asking for lately.
