jon_josh_chua
Dear Friends, Are you all familiar with QTVR and panoramic images. Do you all know of any free software for win that converts cylinder(strip) image to .mov for QTVR. Unfortunately, apple's quicktime only has the conerverter for Mac. Best Regards, Jon
Ed_Ingold
I don't know about "free," but if you can shake $60 out of your piggy bank, Panorama Factory will do just that, easily.
john_houghton
Two possibilities: 1) GoCubic - see http://www.panoguide.com/howto/display/gocubic.jsp 2) Use the Adjust plugin from Panorama Tools to convert from cylindrical to a 360 x 180 equirectangular format. Then use PanoCube to convert the equirectangular image to a cubic qtvr .mov file. Latest versions of the Pano Tools plugins (16-bit compatible) from http://www.epaperpress.com . PanoCube from http://www.panoshow.com/panocube.htm John
jon_josh_chua
Thanks you guys have been very helpful. I had tried Panocube before, can't get it to work. Gocubic is great, I just got the .mov output. Amazing.
