barry_parsons
I am just going to develop my first batch of 8x10 negs in pyrocat hd. My question is I have a 9 zone negative would I use a 1:1:100 at 13 min using a jobo, or do I use the recomended 3:1:100 and develop for a shorter time? harleyman7
My advice to anyone using any developer for the first time is to make some test exposures and develop those before you try it on your important shots. Someone else's development times just may not work as well for you.
ed b.
I have to agree with Don. Do a test or two before you commit important exposures. I've always used Pyrocat-HD at 1:1:100, but am considering trying it with more of the A solution to reduce development times, which for some films run to 25 minutes. However, I develop my negs by inspection.
