jim mucklin
I search the old forms but couldn't find anything current and I wasn't sure where to post.
I want to display images on location similar to a Santa shoot. I would like to keep shooting theathered to a laptop, meanwhile the parents could continue to view and pick, as my wife would run the laptop. I have done a couple of small schools and now I am going to be shooting a ballroom dance where it will help my sales, since the crowd is older, not computer freindly, they just want to see and buy.
I'm using an older Dell Inspirion and windows.
Could anyone recomend an older projector that will work? All it has to do is plug into the laptop to display images. I saw the new add for the small one from 3m that has all the bells and whistles and is super small. What should I look for as far as type (lcd) and cable hook up? I understand the room will need to be darkened, I'm trying to balance cost and weight.
Another option, I guess would be to bring a monitor, which I have a good old CRT, which would only require a cable to connect to the laptop. Anything than having them trip over the tripod.
If anyone could recomend something that they are using.
steve_c.5
I saw an Acer at www.newegg.com that was about $400. It was 2500 ansi lumens, and has 1024 x 768 resolution, so it would be perfect for what you're trying to do, and cheap too.
rayt
Consider getting a second LCD monitor and display the images on the monitor.
