Processing newspaper crowdfunding bid

<p>Dear Photo.net members,</p>

<p><strong>Processing</strong> is an exhibition that will be held at <a href="http://www.hope.ac.uk/cornerstonegallery/">The Cornerstone Gallery</a>, Liverpool, from 7 June - 29 September 2013. It is part of the Parallel Programme of the <a href="http://www.lookphotofestival.com/">LOOK/13 International Photography Festival</a> in Liverpool during May and June.</p>

<p><em>Processing</em> has been devised in response to three significant and unseen bodies of work that photographers <strong>Kevin Casey</strong>, <strong>Stephen King</strong> and <strong>McCoy Wynne</strong> have been undertaking. These works are in advanced stages of development but are considered as 'works in progress'.</p>

<p>The exhibition will result in 27 new photographic and written works curated to reflect the outcomes of these collaborations. The newspaper is vital in creating a strong conceptual link and lasting legacy for the project.</p>

<p>By instigating critical collaborations with writers in the months leading up to the exhibition, the project aims to positively impact the future direction of these works and to challenge the individual working processes that created them.</p>

<p>We are currently crowdfunding to <strong>raise money to print a newspaper</strong> that will be vital in demonstrating this process. It will chart key cross art form collaborations between the photographers and artist <strong>Joni Karanka</strong>, and writers <strong>Linda Pittwood</strong> and <strong>Kenn Taylor</strong>.</p>
