<p>I haven't posted in a while and just returned from travelling across Atlantic Canada. Here are 3 photos to get the POTW thread started.</p><div></div>

<p>Here's a second. Peggy's Cove lighthouse a little over a week ago. You could smell the smoke from the forest fires in the Annapolis Valley in Peggy's Cove.</p><div></div>

<p>Love that effect Matt (image #2). I'm guessing you had to really stop down the lens to get it (unless you were using a star filter). You must have had to crank up the ISO to get the shot, right?</p>

<p>Thanks! This is the legendary SMC DA 15/4 which makes these great starbursts without having to be extremely stopped down. This was at f/13, 1/50s ISO 800 and shot from my bike. Over the years I bet I have the most keepers from this lens. </p>

<p>The starbursts on the original DA Limiteds are amazing. I went with the HD DA series for the way they handle flare but can not obtain a starburst remotely close to those Matt has been able to capture with original DA Limiteds. Dynamite shot Matt.</p>

Amazingly the SMC 15 is also very good with little to no flare under seemingly any conditions!</p>
