As I've always said, I'm not really a photographer, my pursuits just help me get to places that allow me to capture the images I find emotionally compelling. Here we are adventuring towards more images...
<a title="Rafting Zoar Gap at 1000cfs" href=" Rafting Zoar Gap at 1000cfs data-flickr-embed="true">

Thanks Justin. Lovely start.

I have a few more images from my trip out west first.
I got this photo in southern Alberta about 10 minutes before I found myself in a pretty vicious hail storm. No damage to the car, but I was bucking down a gravel roaddoing my best to keep out of the worst of it.

Watched this guy munch on a gopher. I like this look back afterwards.

After we crossed into Montana we came across a potential suicide victim. Fortunately I was able to get him (or her) off the road.

Bullsnake K5iis, 100mm DAW f2.8 macro

Great contributions everyone!
.
I visited my parents last week and took some walks in the woods with the K-1 and 15-30.
<a title="IMGP2430.jpg" href=" IMGP2430.jpg data-flickr-embed="true">
.
I processed this panorama that I shot the previous weekend.
K-1 & 15-30 (x6)
<a title="IMGP2293-Pano-Edit" href=" IMGP2293-Pano-Edit data-flickr-embed="true">
.
Today I'm going through the hundreds of photos I took yesterday at a local race I shot, the West Elk Bicycle Classic. A 135 Mile road race that includes a long hard dirt climb and many thousands of feet of climbing. Hard for sure but this guy can still pull a wheelie for the camera at about 120 Miles!
K-1 & 15-30
<a title="IMGP2719" href=" IMGP2719 data-flickr-embed="true">

Justin. Good to see you out there and starting a POW. I know, I've been lazy myself. Nice contributions everyone. Maybe someday all of the other contributors, myself included can make this thread like what it used to be. My wife and I had a nice vacation a little close to Matt's neck of the woods.
