Well, against my better judgment, I am going to post up a flower shot. It was the last shot on the roll and I was anxious to shoot something to get the roll processed.
This I shot with my ME SUPER, SMC-M50F/1.4 wide open and 99 cents store film.

My daughter Elizabeth at the world famous Amoeba music store. I will need to post up more images of this place. It is something to behold. She looks so much like her mom, it is scary.
Shot this with a point and shoot.

And a street shot outside the music store. Nothing great, but not much time this week to shoot.

These three shots were taken at Rabb's Lagoon, a now protected small area that has a fresh-water creek running through it to Puget Sound. But the lagoon also has tidal waters flowing into it over the beach, so it is rich in songbirds and shore birds. And just a neat place to picnic and shoot at.

Good start Justin.. I suspect I'll never be climbing up to these places, so it's really wonderful to be able to live vicariously through your shots :-) Hope you are feeling better!

Some more from my vacation to China. Firstly some commercialisation on the Great Wall. This is the Mutyianyu section.

Secondly, a beer mobile in the back streets of Beijing

Thirdly, the Forbidden City. Strangely, there are very few other tourists in this shot. It happened rarely!

Hi everyone,

Great start to the weekend folks.

Here are 2 more casual snapshots taken in Bangkok.
The first is taken at the Chatuchak weekend market, where a couple of young chaps were making a bountiful honest living serving up a mean coconut ice cream.
The second image is of a cat who belonged to an old lady who I'm quite sure fleeced us over lunch.

The oppressive and relentless east coast heat is effecting my brain, and every other part of my body. I am heading up to the Adirondacks this week, PLEASE tell me it is a little cooler there, Justin! Three from this past week.

00WsxD-261081584.jpg.e9937fbd85b8b4b019f8f11e808e3526.jpg

Well it's in the mid 80s to date, after cold fronts it's gotten into the upper 50s at nights for the coldest. It is supposed to drop down to the low 80s this week depending on elevation. If you want cooler, go higher or find some water!

Cooler, yes! A lot cooler no.

I'm actually off to paddle the Kunjamuk right now, god bless 9:30pm civil twilights!

Should be filled with aquatic wildflowers, and the 25mph wind gust should cool things down enough to be tolerable.

Photos next week of course!
