I took down the other POTW; no need to have two up. Nice to see though we had two people starting it up!

Hi Gang.
Back from my camping vacation spent mostly in Maine and New Brunswick before I start summer teaching. Hope you've had a great week with your photo equipment. These are all from Acadia National Park.

Nice kick off Howard, as always you manage to capture a lovely shot of a pretty lady! New Brunswick is beautiful Doug, great shots, you should visit the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia next year - it is the most amazing part of Atlantic Canada.

Here are a couple of quick shots from last week….

00dMfl-557389084.jpg.5d1709165a1d4ce8081e02f54b42e6ce.jpg

A very busy week for me again with photography and life in general.
This is from the Crested Butte Chainless World Championship race. It's a race where competitors coast all the way to town from the top of a 7 Mile dirt road hill (Kebler Pass). It's a race and also a costume contest and as with most Crested Butte events, it's a pretty good party too. Chains are zip tied at the start and inspected again at the finish to ensure nobody pedaled.
We had the finish of the whitewater festival this weekend to do the events that were postponed, ironically due to high water a couple of weeks ago.
Finally, my son and I went chasing some lightning last night. We didn't get photos of the really good strikes (which were impressive on our way to this spot!) but managed to get this distant one.
