POTW 2/2/2014

<p>Feeling good this weekend, if a little tired. After a stressful week at work, we got to see Bruce Springsteen in Johannesburg in the rain last night.<br>

Through the whole week of work-stress and fun, magic has been happening in the vegetable garden. All shot with the K3 and D-FA 100 2.8 Macro.<br>

<p>Hey Henk, nice images. Glad you got to see "BRUUUUUUCCE". My wife and I are pretty big fans. We've seen a few shows and they are awesome.<br>

Here's a few images from the archives in honor of Ground Hog's Day, my birthday. These are actually marmots, cousin to the ground hog.</p><div></div>

<p>#2 As busy as they usually are, they like to relax on the rocks a lot also.</p><div></div>

<p>#3 A little too close for comfort. They also tried to get into our packs. His sharp, buck teeth were a bit worrisome.</p><div></div>

<p>I didn't have much time to get out this week . Which tore me up a bit since I got my new used lens I ordered. Here are a couple tho. The First is with the new to me Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro</p><div></div>

<p>I took a group of expert skier 10 year olds skiing in a blizzard for their school on Thursday. Snowing as hard as I have ever seen it! The kids did great! <br>

don't bother trying to translate this 'inlaatopschroefwiel', this is an ancient part of the wide spectrum in dutch water control. Shot in hdr.<br>

in my search for presumed lost photo's I came across this one (<em>Turner on the beach #12) </em> taken in 2008.<br>

maybe I shouldn't tell, but this actually is a statue of an old sailor at the harbour, looking out towards the sea.</p>

<p>Just want to say I'm enjoying everyone's work. I'm getting less and less time with the camera, but that's the state of things. I will probably disappear for a bit, but don't worry I'll be contributing as time allows.</p>
