    Hi All.
Only have test images today. I finally received my 1.4X DW Pentax teleconvertor and I wanted to see how it did on the Pentax 150-450. It wasn't great conditions, light snow, low light, moving subjects so I was shooting at ISO 6400 on the K3, but I have to say that the pair worked well regardless.

  3. With all the snow we have been skiing the mountain next to town that doesn't usually get enough snow. Plenty this year! This was my wife's first trip up and down "W Mountain" on skis and she had a blast!
I got a replacement 18-135 on eBay from Japan for a great price and I'm happy to have my ski lens back.

I'm helping my parents in Michigan this week so on my way to the town with cheaper airfare than mine I stopped by the Black Canyon for a sunrise ski and shoot. Accidentally shot this in jpeg but it seemed to come out ok. Some of my shots had some blown out sky that probably could have been recovered from a raw file but I was happy to get some decent images.

  4. #1 True Colors
I love this song and I use part of its lyrics to add as watermark to the export of picture in LR. I could have used a better font but the emphasis is on the meaning of True Colors in the song. It was a beautiful morning and I heard this sony in my playlist and hence the thought of finding a picture to go with the theme of True Colors. This shot was taken recently on a solo ski trip where the hotel still have Christmas lights on. Hope some of you like it. Disclaimer: none of my posted pictures come from my Pentax gear.

  5. #2 Don't Ever Stop The Music

The singer in album is a French female singer Christine and the Queens. She is wonderful and beautiful person and I love many of her songs.

  6. #3 Grateful For Friendship

Right after Christmas, my boys and I visited Big Sur and Point Lobos State Park and the sunset was beautiful beyond words. Sunsets by itself ar always not my desired picture subject, I like it to have other subjects. This group of young and energetic hikers reminds me to appreciate our friends and family.
