Bill J Boyd
Nice image. Used LR to adjust highlights / shadows and then cropped from right side. Then used NIK's Color Efex Pro 4 for Detail Extractor and Tonal Contrast.

michaellinder
A good choice, Glenn. Started in PSE15, levels, to darken the sky's midtones. Then, went to Color Efex, vintage film, preset 9.
Gerald Cafferty
Glenn a good choice for source photo..........Crop and some basic adjustments in LR before opening in Silver Efex. Played with options before settling on adding Structure and contrast. Then using control points reduced brightness and contrast in far distance in effort to show depth. While using control points to adjust brightness and contrast on the truck I moved the selective colour slider and liked the effect. I've enjoyed editing Michael's and Glenn's photos for the past two weeks. I can do next week unless they or someone wants a go, but I will be unavailable the week after.............GC. JRCrowe
My goal was to make it look like one of our family vacation photos from the 1950-60's taken with a Brownie Hawkeye camera. In Lightroom -clarity, sepia tone preset. In photoshop added border and used blur tool to soften.
Ken Ratcliffe
PSE 14, crop, haze reduction, levels, light etc, hint of sepia, old paper effect, hint of poster edges, dodge and burn to give old photo effect, slight vignette.
tom_r
Great image, Glenn! I especially like how one side of the bumper looks like an angry old man. My version went to Photoshop for minor editing and sharpening and then into a filter program (SPE) for this look. Thanks for the practice. There's a little HDR thrown in there too.
Glenn McCreery
Thanks Tom. I hadn't seen a fender as angry before. Now, when I look at it, both fenders are angry!

Glenn McCreery
Line, I like the way that you cloned out distracting objects to the right of the truck (I initially called it a car, but it is a truck).
