richard jepsen
I use windows XP with Microsoft Office software. I wish to post digital pictures but the simple picture edit in XP does not allow frames, blacklines around the image, etc. Is there simple software or something free that makes for better web presentations? gouda
Might I suggest you take a look at Adobe's new beta program called Lightroom. It has a feature that you do slidowshows or galleries and make them easily exported to a web page.
richard jepsen
To clarify, I can only post a scanned image on a grey background. I'll try posting an image. I wish to use a frame similar to a slide, to st times edge the image with a black border, and change the background frame to gray/white/black. Fairly simple stuff. The HP Photosmart Premier software packaged with my HP 7470N seems to lack these features. Perhaps I am not using the program right or more likely I need another tool. daveish182
You could look for a free trial version of Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro to download.
ronald_moravec1
Picassa 2 will change file size to web presentation size. Icon at the bottom. It is a free download, not even a trial. Photoshop Elements will allow resizing to exactly the size you wish measured in pixels, cm., or inches. Adjust the resolution downward to 72 per inch first, then do image size second. Current version is $70 and there are most of the controls Photoshop has. Perfect for non graphic artist profesionals or as a learning tool.
