Post Processing Challenge Sept 18, 2021

  1. There are no rules as to how you apply your post processing to this image; but, please let us know what you have done so we can all learn.
If you would like to post a candidate image next week, please ensure it is of sufficiently high resolution for manipulation by the participants (3000px on the long side, 300dpi for example).

Most of all, let's have fun while we are learning or demonstrating how we use our post-processing software, imaginations and interpretations.

Lots of errors trying to upload this morning.

One of these is a cake.

  2. Dodge&burn, color shift, blue channel mixed in for more contrast.

  3. Punta, the car model looks like an MGB. FYI, the first car I owned was a 1967 MG Midget.

  4. ppc pebble beach 3.jpg

Pebble Beach Concourse winner. The hard part was to get the car shadows to look reasonable. My method was to make a duplicate image and decrease the brightness of the whole image to shadow levels, then selectively blend with the initial image using Photodhop CC.

  5. ACR basic adjustments, slight crop and a sketch.

  6. Yes, it is an MGB. The cake was for my friend's birthday. He owned a 'B' like the model (same colour, etc).
