gary_ferguson1
I occasionally use a 229mm Cooke Portrait Lens, based on the original Pinkham Smith optic, and particularly enjoy the distinctive, slightly soft focus results. However, I now shoot almost exclusively with a 37mm x 49mm digital sensor. Consequently the 229mm Cooke lens, although perfect for head and shoulder shots, is just too long for groups or full length shots. Could anyone recommend an optic in the 75-100mm range that would deliver sufficiently similar results to be used as a companion lens to the 229mm? hitam_jantung
I find the Mamiya 80mmf1.9 a lovely portrait lens, and should cover your sensor nicely. The mount might be tricky?
