steve_bellayr
I have a Polaroid Image 1200 camera with a digital display. The digital display is not working when I put in the batteries. Is there some repairable method? Or, should I ignore it and use the viewfinder? Or, should I just toss the camera? Thank you.
steve_gallimore1
I think the display is just a fancy viewfinder, so you can use the optical viewfinder instead. Bigger problem is going to be film, Impossible Project / Polaroid Originals have just discontinued Spectra/Image film, so if you see some, buy it! Don't junk it, they fetch a good price. Edit: while the digital display has it's own battery, it might still require there to be a live battery in the film pack in order for it to do anything. In case you didn't know, the camera is powered by a battery in the film pack, the AA battery is only for the display.
