brian_m.1
Not necessarily a mirrorless question, but I am looking for a regular P&S that still actually imprints the date on the image. I am not interested in software solutions. I am prepared for a debate on the merits, or lack thereof, of this feature but that is best left for another thread.

brian_m.1
Great find, now if I could have one that is a little cheaper. This has a lot of bells and whistles I don't need. As thorough as dpreview is, I know no way of searching it based on this feature.

Lots of choices on eBay if you don't mind pre-owned.

brian_m.1
Thanks Mike. I think I am going for the A2500. Date imprint can't be easily verified by reading the specs. I had to download the user manual for that. The other little secret is that in some brands when you are adding the date, for some inexplicable reason you have to go to a much lower resolution. I don't think this is the case here though. I Googled this feature before posting here and there is a huge demand for it. I hope they find this thread because they hadn't found a current camera that does it.
dave_thomas8
My G15, which was released by Canon in September of last year can be configured to do it. (Like the video, something I never use!) And I believe my modest circa 2004 A80 can do it too, so I suspect most of the Canon PowerShot series are candidates.
