jim_kish
This question has been asked twice before already, but the answers (to me at least) just led to more questions... I meter for HIE at EI50 with an incident meter, and use a #25 filter (roughly equvalent to EI400 metering TTL). I have had good luck with this combo and HC110. I would be interested to hear what development times/temps people like using PMK. In past threads on this subject times varied wildly, from 10-22 mins. I suspect temps are varying and different filters (or no filters) are being used-this was not specified in earlier answers. Thanks in advance... john lehman, college alask
12-14 minutes at 70 degrees F. While I am an enthusiastic PMK fan, I have never been able to avoid streaking with HIE and so have reluctantly gone back to D76 with it.
ed b.
See my page of Developing times for HIE. I use PMK for 12 M at 70 degrees, but my results have been mixed and I recommend you bracket widely.
