michaelschrag
Since Sony makes Nikon sensors, this announcement (and the details to follow) may give some clue as to what Nikon may do as well. http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/digital-cameras/breaking-pma-07-live-blog-sony-announces-expansions-to-alpha-dslr-line-242638.php Its actually quite an ugly camera, http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/digital-cameras/pma-07-breaking-sony-alpha-flagship-first-pics-242663.php

sandysocks
Yep. Don't know if the camera is so bad, but the pictures of it are ugly anyway. Hang onto your money for a while. Looks like good news for everyone just like when Sony introduced the Alpha and kicked off the 10mp class.
jbs
Good Times! Still glad I bought the a100. I notice the upper deck LCD that everyone complained about not having on the a100 and that's good but the look is a little off-putting with that ugly flip flash cover (which may disappear ;)) on top and the whole body look too square. The Sony made vertical grip will be great though.
