User_3804048
Please help ID this bush / shrub which is currently blooming in Western Pennsylvania. The leaves are somewhat more olive in tone than what is shown here. It is quite aromatic, but with a musky fragrance rather than a sweet one.

Thank you.

Don

kerry_grim
I am no expert, but it appears to be autumn olive Elaeagnus umbellata a highly invasive shrub from East Asia.
ant_nio_marques
Something from the Apocynaceae? If so, quite possibly poisonous! Send the photo to the botany department of your local university! They'll know in no time.

User_3804048
Thanks, folks. I think that Elaeagnus umbellata is it, but I've taken Antonio's suggestion and put in a query to Penn State's botany department.

Don
