austinphoto
I've tried to help a friend with photoshop cs2. His program does not allow him to save as Jpg. He can only save as PSD. We need to save as Jpg to allow photos to be emailed and printed. Does anyone know why? His save as box does not show up the same as mine either. Help! thanks,Abe
ben_kriete
If your friend is working with layers, he may need to "flatten" the image (I believe the command is at the bottom of the "Layers" drop-down menu) before he can save it as anything but a .psd. pico_digoliardi
Use: File - Save For Web It works regardless of 16-bit.
blakley
Could be a variety of things - if you're in LAB color your file type options will be limited, as they will if you're in 16-bit mode. Check the title bar of your image to see if any file type or colorspace issues exist. Also check for existence of layers, etc...
austinphoto
He is working on Jpgs I've given him. The same file works fine on my computer. I will try and see what bit depth he is working on. But these are jpg's i've shot on jpg and given him a cd. Very strange!
