concert_images Posted August 1, 2005 Share Posted August 1, 2005 I'm considering purchasing the Nikon D2X. I use PS 7 at home. I'm told that only CS2 supports Nikon's NEF RAW file format, and that possibly Elements 3.0 does? I can't afford CS2 as well as the D2X in the short term, so here's the question - does Elements 3.0 work wtih Nikon's NEF RAW files? I gather the Nikon Capture software is fairly pants... a.d. steward Posted August 3, 2005 Share Posted August 3, 2005 Thats just the NEW plug-in. I use CS and NEF-Raw is supported. Are your PS7 updates and plug-ins current? if not, update them and try a NEF-Raw. You could upgrade to PSCS (PS8) from PS7 for around $200.00 or less; then to PSCS2 (PS9) for around $150.00 at some point in the future. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
